Sydney Harbour has many good spots, some of which can be quite secluded and away from the crowds.

In general and depending on wind conditions the best anchorages include: Athol Bay, next to Taronga Zoo, Taylors Bay near Bradleys Head, Hermit Beach in Rose Bay, Store Beach & Quarantine Beach near North Head, Camp Cove, Castle Rock Beach and Bantry Bay in Middle Harbour or even Farm Cove near the Opera House and the Royal Botanic Gardens.
