For those who wish to skipper safely and confidently their own, or a chartered, yacht.

Complete the eLearning course at your own pace, followed by a 4.5 day practical on-board course.

NB: This course is not for beginners and requires prior experience or previous qualifications.

Minimum 16 years of age.

What’s included

Logbook, eLearning and pre-course reading, training resources, and certification
Tuition by experienced and qualified instructors
Life jackets and safety harnesses are provided, and we can loan you wet weather clothing if required
On board coffee, tea and water as well as snacks
On board dinner for the night sail evening (please advise us of any food allergies or dietary requirements)
All vessels have an enclosed bathroom on board

Xavier & James treated us to a fun race and a wonderful sailing experience in the Manly Yacht Friday evening race series. The weather was a bit uncooperative at the start but everyone maintained a good attitude despite lack of wind and later rain. They were clearly qualified sailors (in fact instructors) and the boat was well outfitted and taken care of.
