Obtain the globally recognised certification to sail in international waters
The International Certificate of Competency (ICC) is a certificate of competency, not a “course”.
The ICC is required for Europe’s inland and coastal waterways and the coastal waters of the UK and Mediterranean countries, and is also increasingly recommended for charterers in Australia as it validates your competence externally.
To be issued an ICC for a sailing vessel, your skills and knowledge must be equivalent to those of an IYT Bareboat Skipper. ICC is valid for 5 years from the date of issue.
